Tripti Dimri Discusses How Her Parents Reacted To Intimate Scenes In Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Film Animal; says, “It took them time to get over that scene”
Tripti Dimri, known for her stunning role as Zoya opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the critically acclaimed film Animal, recently provided details about filming intimate scenes alongside the Bollywood actor. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, she shared her parents’ initial reaction after seeing this moment on screen and acknowledging that it took them some time to come to term with it.

Describing her family’s reaction, Tripti said: “My mother and father were shocked. (They said) ‘We haven’t seen anything like this in the movies. You saw it too.’ They said that a while ago, but they were very sweet to me and said, ‘Don’t do it, but it’s okay.’ As parents, we will obviously feel this.”
She talked about her passion for her profession and explained to her family that she had done nothing wrong. Tripti said that as an actor, it is important to stay true to the character and her performance focuses on the authenticity of the character she is playing. “I told them I didn’t do anything wrong. This is my job and as long as I’m comfortable and safe, I don’t see anything wrong. I’m an actor and I have to be 100 percent honest. I’m Playing a Character, I’m doing it,” she added.
With expectations of reaching about 100 crores, Animal is expected to continue gaining momentum and set major records in its second weekend and second week. The film, known for its A-Rating and 3 hours and 21 minutes of screening time, became one of the most talked about and liked films of 2023.
