Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Lahore 1947’ Is Set to Release on Republic Day in 2025
Lahore 1947 was the title of Sunny Deol’s reunion with veteran director Rajkumar Santoshi for a period action drama Punjabi play “Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Nai” by Asghar Wajahat is said to be based on which Aamir Khan is funding the project.

The film, which also stars Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, and Mona Singh in key roles, is shooting quickly. It is expected to be completed by the end of June this year, with almost a month left, according to Pinkvilla.
Aamir Khan is also said to have a cameo appearance in Lahore 1947, though the film’s producers haven’t acknowledged this as of yet. Rumor has it that Khan has already filmed his scene. There’s a real excitement surrounding the film, and box office success is anticipated.
