Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animals’ breaks Netflix Hindi film record
Netflix viewership record for the film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, has been broken. In the first ten days of its release on the streamer, the action drama movie had the most viewers of any Indian film—direct or indirect.

Since its January 26 Netflix debut, Animal has received 39.3 million viewing hours from 11.7 million views in the first 10 days, the most ever for an Indian film. In the preceding ten days, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga (direct release), starring Yami Gautam, had 29 million hours of viewing, making it the most-watched Indian title on Netflix.
17 nations have animal trending in their top 10, including India, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, the Maldives, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Mauritius at the top of the list. The film is currently popular in a number of different nations, including Trinidad & Tobago, New Zealand, and Australia.
