Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor are “in touch” for a movie Sanju, their previous big-budget collaboration.
Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani collaborated on the 2018 movie Sanju. In a new interview with India Today, the filmmaker talked about working with Ranbir again. Talking only about Ranbir, with whom he worked in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, Rajkumar said that he “would love to do another film with Ranbir” as Ranbir is enjoying the success of “Animals”. According to a recent report by Sacnilk.com, “Animal” has earned Rs 541.87 crore in India and Rs 885 crore at the worldwide box office since its release on December 1.

Rajkumar Hirani on working with Ranbir Kapoor: “Ranbir is a true lover. We are having a good time being Sanju. I will definitely do another movie with him. I have a few scripts with me, and we communicate. Let’s see where this goes? So let’s watch how this develops. Occasionally, a script you begin to write doesn’t work out, so you start another and it develops into something else. So yes, I like Ranbir (smiles). “
Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic ‘Sanju Dutt’ tells the story of actor Sanju Dutt The Life of Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role , fetched Rs 342.57 crore in India and worldwide Rs 588.50 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.com. In Sanju, Paresh Rawal plays Sanjay’s father, actor-politician Sunil Dutt, while Manisha Koirala plays Sanjay’s mother, actor Nargis. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh.
Apart from the box office collection, Sanju also praised Ranbir’s performance. His girlfriend at the time, actress Alia Bhatt, said about Sanju at a press conference in 2018: “I love it so much. It’s a great, great, great film. For me, in the top ten list of films, ‘Sanju’ is at the top. Ranbir is outstanding in it. Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal also did a great job.
