Ae Watan Mere Watan, an upcoming historical thriller drama, honors the unsung heroes of the Indian Independence cause. Emraan Hashmi plays the liberation warrior Ram Manohar Lohia in a fictional film including Sara Ali Khan in a cameo role. This avatar has never been seen before. The official poster for this lesser-known hero from the pages of India’s freedom struggle was released by Prime Video today. Ram Manohar Lohia was instrumental in the establishment and operation of the underground radio station that was essential to the Quit India Movement. Throughout his voyage, he was often imprisoned, tortured, and jailed. He devoted his life to the nation’s struggle against the British Raj. For the first time ever, Emraan seems almost completely different as Ram Manohar Lohia, playing a freedom fighter.
